After announcing their rider line-up for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship and FIM Supersport World Championship, Team Pedercini Racing by Global Service Solution have confirmed another new face for the 2019 season, as Giordano Mozzi is set to become the Italian squad’s new Team Manager.

Team owner Lucio Pedercini will remain actively involved in the development of the Volta Mantovana outfit, while their new recruit will manage the general organisation of the team. Together they aspire to take a step forward with Team Pedercini in 2019, with new signings Jordi Torres and Ayrton Badovini aiming to make an impact in WorldSBK and WorldSSP, respectively.

Mozzi is ready for this new challenge: “It’s a real pleasure for me to work with my friend Lucio and I'm really proud to be able to wear the colours of his team, in such an important role. I like to take on responsibilities and I like ambitious challenges because it always brings the best out of me. With Lucio we have identified a path of growth and the tasks are divided in order to better control all the strategic areas of the Team; so that the technical area of bike preparation works even better, I will deal more with the general organization of the team, the sponsors and the marketing and communication areas. We are well-knit and aligned on the whole program.

Team owner Pedercini adds: “We have been friends with Giordano for over 30 years, and I know very well his excellent skills as an excellent manager and sportsman. I have been very few people as determined as him, he is a real number one as well as a true leader who knows how to motivate the team and his international successes in various fields confirm this without doubt”.
